Ambassador Sakata held a courtesy meeting with the president of Moldova Nicolae Timofti

 
 
 

On April 17, 2012 Ambassador Sakata paid a courtesy visit to the president of Moldova Nicolae Timofti and discussed general matters on Japan-Moldovan bilateral relations. During the meeting Ambassador Sakata greeted president Timofti with his recent assignment with Mr. Timofti expressing his gratitude towards government of Japan for the support to Moldova. Both sides agreed on continuing cooperation aimed at strengthening political and economical relations including exchange between citizens of both countries.
