Ambassador Sumi participated in the Japanese Garden Opening Ceremony

 On February 5, Ambassador Sumi participated in the opening ceremony of the Japanese garden donated by Kosugi Zoen Co. to the National Technical University of Ukraine.
 In his welcoming speech, Ambassador Sumi mentioned, that this Japanese garden was displayed at Art Arsenal during ‘Imaginary Traveler’, the main event of the Year of Japan in Ukraine. Moreover, Embassy is glad, that this garden was relocated to the same floor as the Ukraine Japan Centre, which is also a part of the KPI, and hopes to see this garden used for various events, conducted by the Centre.
 Rector of the National Technical University of Ukraine Mykhail Zgurovsky and president of Kosugi Zoen Co. Saki Kosugi were also present at the ceremony, and expressed their hopes towards future use of the Japanese garden.
