Ceremony of grant contracts signing for Grass Roots (KUSANONE) Human Security Projects 2018, 1st stage

  On February 8, four grant contracts were signed at the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine for the Grass Roots (KUSANONE) Human Security Projects 2018.
  Namely, the following projects have been signed:
  1. Project for Improvement of Medical Equipment at Dubno National Medical Institutions, Rivne Oblast
  2. Project for Improvement of Medical Equipment in Putyvl Central District Hospital, Sumy Oblast
  3. Project for Improvement of Sanitary Environment in Kharkiv Oblast Hospice
  4. Project for Improvement of Educational Environment in Kulykivka Town School, Chernihiv Oblast
  According to these contracts, the Government of Japan will provide financial assistance for a total of about $300,000 for improvement of Ukrainian public health and education facilities. The grants will be used for installation of modern medical and sanitary equipment in hospitals and hospice, as well as renovation of roof and external walls at the school.
