Deputy Head of Mission Michio Harada visited Kharkiv

On March 25-28, 2018 Deputy Head of Mission, Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine Michio Harada visited Kharkiv city where he held meetings with the First Deputy Head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Mark Bekker, as well as representatives of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, Research and Production Enterprise “Hartron-Arkos” and PJSC “Turboatom”.
During the meeting with the First Deputy Head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Mark Bekker, Michio Harada said he was happy that relations between Japan and Kharkiv region are steadily developing. He noted that these relations would further strengthen through the implementation of two new projects under the Kusanone Grant Assistance Program, namely the Project for Improvement of Sanitary Environment in Kharkiv Oblast Hospice and the Project for Improvement of Rehabilitation Facility at Ukrainian Research Institute for Prosthetics and Rehabilitation. In turn, Mark Bekker expressed his sincere gratitude for the assistance provided under the above-mentioned program.
