On December 16th the Embassy of Japan in Moldova hosted a reception at the Chisinau hotel, in celebration of the 81st birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan, Akihito.
The Ambassador’s chef provided the guests with traditional Japanese cuisine, Sushi. Also displayed at the venue was an Ikebana, a Japanese flower arrangement.
The reception was attended by Mr. V. BUMACOV, Minister for Agriculture and Food Industry, Mr. A.USATII, Minister for Health, Ms. M. SANDU, Minister for Education, other Moldovan government officials, researchers and experts of various higher educational institutions, members of social organizations, representatives of the diplomatic corps, and many more. Friendship between Japan and Moldova and the promotion of bilateral relationships were discussed over savory Moldovan wine.
