On the 27th of June, 2013 H.E. Mr. Toichi SAKATA, Ambassador of Japan in the Republic of Moldova, together with H. E. Mr. Vyacheslav Negruta, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Moldova, signed and exchanged Notes for ODA Loan Agreement for the Improvement of Medical Care Service Project in the amount of 5.926 billion yen. It is the first Yen loan project offered to Moldova introduction of which shows the cooperation between two countries reached the new level.
Japan has made contributions for improvement of medical environment in Moldova continuously. This time to improve medical care service in the hospitals of Chisinau the outdated equipment will be updated and the new ones will be introduced.
On the occasion of signing the intergovernmental agreement, Mr. Ichikawa, Vice-president of JICA, and H. E. Mr. Andrei Usatîi, Minister of Health, signed the Loan Agreement.
Before the signing ceremony, the Ambassador had talks with the Ministers regarding the bilateral relations and further development of cooperation between the two countries.
