Ambassador Kurai and his wife visited Lviv region

On November 22-23, Ambassador Kurai and his wife visited Lviv region and paid courtesy calls to the Lviv City Mayor Andrii Sadovyi, Head of Lviv Regional Council Oleksandr Hanushchyn and the Deputy Head of Lviv Regional State Administration Vasyl Lozynskyi.
During the meeting with Mayor Sadovyi, the sides discussed the Japan-Ukraine relations in economic and cultural areas. In particular, Andrii Sadovyi expressed his high expectations for the cooperation between Japan and Lviv city in the IT field and intercity exchange.
During the meetings with the Head of Lviv Regional Council Oleksandr Hanushchyn and the Deputy Head of Lviv Regional State Administration Vasyl Lozynskyi, the Ukrainian officials conveyed their sincere gratitude for the support Japan had provided to Lviv region, including the assistance under the Kusanone Grant Program. Furthermore, they expressed readiness to work closely together for further development of economic relations between Japan and Lviv region.
