Lecture by Professor Motoshige Itoh on "Reform of state-owned companies as an impulse for the development of competitive markets"

On September 21, the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine, together with Kyiv School of Economics, invites you to join the conference, where a well-known Japanese economist, Professor Motoshige Itoh will share the unique and successful experience of reforming state-owned enterprises. During the lecture, the speaker will talk about how Japan has managed to transform state-owned companies into efficient enterprises, which are attractive for investments. In particular, Professor Itoh will consider the impact of deregulation on privatization and the competitive market on the example of the railways and the energy sector.
The second part of the event will be panel discussion, inviting representatives of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, heads of state companies in Ukraine and the Research and Analysis of Corporate Governance KSE. During this part, participants will discuss ways to implement the experience of Japanese privatization in Ukraine.
