1st Japanese Ambassador's Cup shogi tournament

On February 8th, 2026, the first Japanese Ambassador's Cup shogi tournament was held in Ukraine, featuring participants from various regions of the country who had successfully passed the preliminary round which was conducted prior at the Ukraine-Japan Center.
After intense competition, Mr. Maksym Vynohradov, shogi instructor of the Ukraine-Japan Center has emerged victorious.
The event was organised with the support of Ukraine-Japan Center, Ukrainian Shogi Federation and the Ukrainian Shogi Dojo.
