Piano Concert of Fujiko Hemming

On the 27th of November the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine together with the National Philharmonic of Ukraine held the Piano Concert of Fujiko Hemming.
The first half of the concert was played solely by Maestro Hemming which comprised compositions of Schubert, Mozart and Liszt. The second part began with the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine performing Overture from “The Journey to Reims, or the Hotel of the Golden Fleur-de-lis” by Beethoven, and the concert finished with Fujiko Hemming and the Philharmonic Orchestra playing Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1.
There were many visitors, nearly 550 people that came to enjoy the concert, leaving no empty seats. We were pleased to receive so many positive reviews regarding the performance, such as ‘the technic was fantastic’, and ‘the music touched my heart deeply’.
