Ambassador Sumi exchanged views with the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Ihor Nasalyk (21.04)

On April 21, 2016 Ambassador of Japan Mr. Shigeki Sumi held a meeting with the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Ihor Nasalyk.
The Minister thanked Japan for the assistance provided and confirmed that he will support further cooperation in the energy sector, including the implementation of a NEDO demonstration project at a thermal power plant. In turn, Ambassador Sumi further addressed Japan’s assistance to Ukraine in the field of energy and asked that the Minister ensure all conditions necessary for implementation of these projects.
