On July 1, 2016 Ambassador of Japan Shigeki Sumi held a meeting with the Archbishop of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church Sviatoslav Shevchuk at the Ambassador’s residence. The Archbishop explained about relations between Ukraine and Vatican, as well as relationships between the Catholic and Orthodox churches in Ukraine.
