Ambassador Sumi met with the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Ostap Semerak

On June 29, 2016 Ambassador of Japan Shigeki Sumi held a meeting and exchanged views with the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine Ostap Semerak.
The Minister thanked for the assistance provided by Japan and explained the issues the Ecology Ministry is currently working on. In turn, Ambassador Sumi spoke about the cooperation between the two countries, including the collaboration in the field of post-accident emergency response at nuclear power plants. The Ambassador also explained about the new scheme of cooperation in the above-mentioned area which has been recently approved and conveyed eagerness to continue close cooperation.
