On July 14, 2016 Ambassador of Japan Shigeki Sumi, as chair of the G7 Ambassadors’ Support Group for Ukraine, together with other G7 ambassadors held a meeting and exchanged views with the Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Andrii Reva.
The Minister expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by the G7 countries and explained about the social security system for IDPs and people living in occupied territories. Ambassador Sumi stated that G7 strongly hopes for the solution of social problems and expects further efforts to ensure the improvement of lives of people from eastern regions.
