Ambassador Sumi visited Poltava Region

On August 18-19, 2016 Ambassador Sumi visited Poltava Region to take part in the handover ceremony of a project implemented within the framework of the Kusanone Grant Assistance Programme. During the visit Ambassador Sumi held meetings with the Head of Poltava Regional State Administration Valerii Holovko and the Secretary of Poltava City Council Oksana Derkach.
The officials thanked Ambassador Sumi for his first visit to the region and the assistance provided under the Kusanone Programme, and conveyed their expectations of further development of collaboration between regions. They also expressed their readiness to promote economic relations through the attraction of investment from Japanese companies.
