Piano concert of Fuzjko Hemming in Kyiv and Odessa

  On 20 October 2016, a concert by world famous pianist Fujiko Hemming was held at the residence of the Ambassador of Japan.
  At the beginning of the concert, Ambassador Sumi introduced Maestro Hemming and wished everybody an enjoyable performance by this outstanding pianist.
  Around 65 guests gathered at the residence to enjoy the concert, including  Ukrainian government officials, members of diplomatic corps and representatives of Japanese companies. Maestro Hemming played some compositions of Schubert, Chopin, Mozart and Liszt, touching the hearts of the audience with a passionate and, at the same time, mature performance.

Odessa

  A ‘Fujiko Hemming piano concert’ was held at the Odessa Philharmonic on 23 October.
  Minister Counsellor Harada underlined in his welcoming speech during the opening ceremony that Odessa and Yokohama are sister cities and he expects that relations between these cities and Japan will strengthen in future.
  The first half of the concert consisted of Schubert, Rachmaninoff, Chopin and Liszt compositions played solo by Maestro Hemming. In the second part Fujiko Hemming, together with the Odessa Philharmonic Orchestra, performed Mozart piano concerto #21.
  At the end of the concert, a standing ovation from around 600 visitors continued for some time to honor the wonderful performance of Maestro Fujiko Hemming.
