On November 11, 2016 Ambassador Sumi, as chair of the G7 Ambassadors’ Support Group for Ukraine, together with other G7 ambassadors, visited the National Bank of Ukraine and held a meeting with National Bank Governor Valeria Gontareva.
The Governor informed about the progress of reforms in the banking sector and issues the National Bank is currently working on. Speaking on behalf of G7, Ambassador Sumi expressed support for the reforms implemented by the National Bank and said that despite numerous problems G7 expects continuous reforms to be carried out by the National Bank.
