Ambassador Sumi exchanged views with First Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv

On November 14, 2016 Ambassador Sumi held a meeting and exchanged views on bilateral cooperation with the First Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv.
The First Vice Prime Minister explained about reforms aimed at improving the current business environment and conveyed his expectations regarding his upcoming visit to Japan. In turn, Ambassador Sumi talked about the entry of Japanese companies into Ukraine and wished the First Vice Prime Minister a fruitful visit to Japan. Furthermore, the sides agreed to cooperate closely within the framework of the “Year of Japan in Ukraine” in 2017.
