Official logotype of the “Year of Japan in Ukraine” celebrating 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Ukraine

The official logotype of the “Year of Japan in Ukraine”, dedicated to celebrating the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Ukraine, has been chosen.
This logotype was created by a Japanese graphic designer, Mr. Kawai Tomoo, who lives in Shiga prefecture. The main motif of this logo consists of the national flags of the two countries. *Hinomaru and the Easter egg are drawn close to each other, symbolizing the friendly relations that exist between our two countries.
This design was selected among 32 other ideas, submitted to the Embassy of Japan during the period from 22 August to 7 October.
We hope that this official logotype will be widely used at different events and promotions, dedicated to the “Year of Japan in Ukraine”, which will be celebrated next year.
