G7 Ambassadors Support Group for Ukraine met Prime Minister Groysman

On March 1, 2017 Ambassador of Japan Shigeki Sumi, together with other G7 ambassadors from the Ukraine Support Group, held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman.
Prime Minister Groysman explained about the current state of internal reforms in Ukraine and thanked the G7 countries for their assistance. In turn, Ambassador Sumi touched upon the medical reform and spoke about Japan’s assistance in this area provided through international organizations and within the framework of Kusanone Grant Assistance Program for human security projects. He conveyed his expectations for a comprehensive medical reform under the Prime Minister’s leadership.
