On April 18 Deputy Head of Mission, Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine Michio Harada visited Mukachevo in Zakarpattya region and held a meeting with the First Deputy Mayor Vladyslav Fediv, during which the sided exchanged views regarding the Year of Japan in Ukraine and planting sakura as one of the event within the framework of its celebration. After the meeting the Minister-Counsellor planted sakura together with the Deputy Mayor of Mukachevo Oleksandr Halai.
