Ambassador Sumi attended the lecture on the electronic microscope presented by Hitachi High-Technologies

On May 25 Ambassador of Japan Shigeki Sumi attended and delivered a speech during the lecture on the electronic microscope presented by Hitachi High-Technologies.
The lecture was organized in the framework of the Year of Japan in Ukraine aiming to explain to Ukrainian school and university students about modern Japanese technologies in an easy way. It was conducted in Kyiv municipal school No.78, National Technical University of Ukraine “KPI” and Art-zavod “Platforma” and was attended by more than 150 people. The participants were actively engaged in the lecture observing the images of small things, which surround us in everyday life, greatly enlarged with the electronic microscope.
In the speech delivered at NTUU “KPI”, Ambassador Sumi noted that being a country with a long tradition Japan is also a country of advanced technologies. He also conveyed expectations that during these lectures Ukrainian students will have an opportunity to learn about Japanese latest technologies.
