Handover Ceremony of the Project for Improvement of Medical Equipment at Dnipropetrovsk City Hospital No.4 under the Kusanone Grant Assistance Program for FY 2015

  On October 25 Ambassador of Japan Shigeki Sumi visited Dnipro and participated in the handover ceremony of the Project for Improvement of Medical Equipment at Dnipro City Hospital No.4 under the Kusanone Grant Assistance Program for FY 2015. In the framework of the above-mentioned project, an ultrasonic diagnostic system and mobile bronchoscope were purchased through the “Charity Fund for Patients with Oncological, Endocrine and Other Diseases”.
  The ceremony was also attended by the Chief Doctor of the Dnipro City Hospital No.4 Kostyantyn Chebanov, Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimatology Serhii Novikov, as well as hospital staff and representatives of the city authorities, who inspected the provided equipment and observed the hospital.
  Ambassador Sumi explained about the Japan’s assistance to Ukraine and projects implemented under the Kusanone Grant Assistance Program. He noted that this year was declared as the Year of Japan in Ukraine and said he was happy to participate in the handover ceremony to commemorate it.
