Ambassador Sumi participated in 3D mapping demonstration ceremony

On December 22nd, Ambassador Sumi together with his wife attended the 3D projection mapping ceremony which was held at St. Sophia Cathedral square in Kyiv city as the closing event of the “Year of Japan in Ukraine”, as well as delivered welcoming remarks and took part in the lighting ceremony. This event was organized to take place at the same time with the Christmas market in Kyiv city; the equipment used for 3D projection mapping is made by Panasonic.
In his speech, Ambassador Sumi expressed gratitude to President Poroshenko for designating 2017 the “Year of Japan in Ukraine”, as well as gratitude to the Ukrainian people for holding various events throughout Ukraine this year. Ambassador also believes that despite the fact that the “Year of Japan in Ukraine” is coming to an end, the friendship between Japan and Ukraine will continue to deepen in 2018 and on.
