Ambassador Sumi participated in the International Conference "NSDI: Towards Data Society"

On February 22, 2018 Ambassador Sumi delivered an opening speech at the International Conference "NSDI: Towards Data Society", which was held in Kyiv by the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre in the framework of the JICA’s technical cooperation project “Creation of Spatial Data Infrastructure in Ukraine”.
In his speech, Ambassador Sumi said that the above-mentioned project is very important for acquiring accurate digital data regarding the land in Ukraine. He also conveyed his expectations that the Japanese technology will contribute to the creation of NSDI for the whole territory of Ukraine.
