Ambassador Sumi attended a signing ceremony of MoU on modernization of turbine equipment between Toshiba and Turboatom

On July 4 Ambassador Sumi participated in the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on modernization of turbine equipment for nuclear power plants between Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions and JSC “Turboatom”, which was held on the premises of SE NNEGC “Energoatom”.
During the ceremony, Goro Yanase, Vice President of Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions Corporation, and Viktor Subotin, CEO of JSC “Turboatom”, signed a document to develop cooperation for modernization of turbine equipment for nuclear power plants.
Ambassador Sumi delivered a speech and welcomed the signing of MoU. He also conveyed expectations that it would deepen business cooperation between the Japanese and Ukrainian companies and expressed readiness to actively support such kind of economic cooperation.
