Signing ceremony of the Non-Project Grant Aid for the provision of Japanese medical equipment and other products produced by Japanese small and medium enterprises (SMEs)

  On March 30, 2015, the signing ceremony of the Non-Project Grant Aid for the provision of Japanese medical equipment and other products produced by Japanese SMEs took place at the Ministry of Regional Development.
  The ceremony was attended by the Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities of Ukraine Gennadii Zubko, Minister of Health of Ukraine Alexander Kvitashvili and Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine Shigeki Sumi.
  The grant aid of JPY 1 billion (around USD 8.4 million) will be used to provide Ukraine with Japanese medical equipment and other products produced by Japanese SMEs (JPY 500 million (around USD 4.2 million) for each of the projects). The list of products and equipment will be approved upon consultation with the Ukrainian government. All products provided will be used for the development of emergency medical services and the recovery of Donbas.
