　 On May 14, Ambassador of Japan Mr. Shigeki Sumi visited Kyiv City State Administration to hold a meeting with Mr. Vitaliy Klychko, Mayor of Kyiv and Head of Kyiv City State Administration.
　 Ambassador Sumi spoke about the Japanese assistance that is planned to be provided to Kyiv (modernization of Kyiv metro), as well as the development of Kyoto park. Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klychko thanked for the significant assistance provided by Japan and expressed the desire for further cooperation, including Kyoto park, and a deep interest in Japanese assistance in future.
