Three Handover Ceremonies in the Kirovohrad region under the 2012 Grant Assistance for Human Security Projects of the Kusanone Programme for Ukraine

 

 

 
 

　 On May 20th, 2015 Ambassador Sumi and his wife visited the Kirovohrad region and took part in three handover ceremonies under the 2012 Grant Assistance for Human Security Projects of the Kusanone Programme for Ukraine, which took place in the Novomyrhorod district. The First Lady Maryna Poroshenko and the Governor of the Kirovohrad region Mr. Kuzmenko also took part in these ceremonies.
　 Within the framework of these projects to improve the educational and sanitary environment in the Zlatopilska Gymnasium, Kanizh Village School, and three Kindergartens in the Novomyrhorod district, windows and doors were replaced, ceilings were renovated while simultaneously water purification systems were installed and all plumbing renewed. Additionally new furniture, computers, and other educational equipment were provided. The First Lady, Regional State Administration, and all those involved within these projects expressed their gratitude to the people of Japan.
